Is it right for me?

  • Teeth that have yellowed or stained over time
  • No untreated decay or exposed roots
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You understand crowns and fillings will not change colour

How it works

  1. Check first

We check teeth and gums. Decay or exposed roots should be treated first; scaling helps the gel work evenly.

  2. Protection

Your gums and lips are protected before the gel is applied.

  3. Whitening

The gel is applied and activated with a light in sets, in about an hour.

  4. Shade check

We compare the shade and talk about whether a further session would help.

Insurance and cost

Whitening is cosmetic and not covered by Korean health insurance. We give you the price before treatment. The check-up and yearly scaling beforehand are covered by insurance.

Planning around your stay in Korea

Whitening needs only one visit per session, so it fits easily before a trip home or a special event. Book a few days ahead so any short-term sensitivity has settled.

Aftercare

  • For 24–48 hours avoid coffee, black tea, red wine, curry and other strongly coloured food
  • Rinse with water after coloured drinks
  • Short, sharp sensitivity for a day or two is common
  • Smoking brings yellow stains back quickly

Questions

How much is whitening in Dangjin?

We tell you the price before treatment. It depends on how many sessions you choose.

Does whitening damage teeth?

Professional whitening used as directed does not remove enamel. Some people feel temporary sensitivity, which we can ease with a desensitising gel.

How long does the result last?

It depends on habits. Coffee, tea, red wine and smoking bring stains back sooner.

Can I whiten if I'm pregnant?

We recommend waiting until after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
