Questions travellers ask.
Can I get a dental check-up in Myeongdong as a tourist?
Yes. Guardians Dental is one minute from Myeongdong Station and sees visitors without Korean insurance. A check-up with X-ray takes about 30 minutes and is explained in English. We tell you what needs care now and what can wait until you are home.
Can I do scaling and whitening on the same trip?
Yes. Scaling takes about 40 minutes and DIAwhite whitening about an hour. Many visitors book a check-up and scaling early in the trip and whitening near the end.
I have a toothache. Can I be seen today?
Usually, yes, during opening hours. Send a photo by WhatsApp or LINE and we tell you the earliest time. If swelling spreads to your eye or neck, or you have trouble breathing or a high fever, call 119.
How much does it cost?
Full-mouth scaling is ₩60,000. Other reference fees are in our fee list, and your final fee is confirmed before treatment starts.
Can I talk to the dentist in English?
Yes. Our international team handles English, and if you write in Japanese, Thai or another language we reply with translation support.
Do you do veneers or implants?
Yes. DIAlami veneers usually take 1–7 days and crowns 1–3 days thanks to our in-house lab. Implants need two trips, 3–4 months apart.
How do I pay?
Cash in KRW or USD, major international cards, international bank transfer, or selected cross-border mobile wallets and QR payments.
